Cyberpunk Choker 2018
I wanted to create a futuristic-looking choker that can light up. I chose lightly colored mesh fabric because its softness contrasts with the geometric shapes of the light diffusers. Metal magnets are great for switches because of its conductivity and magnetic attractions. However, I encountered some difficulty fixing the magnets on where they need to be since there is no holes to sew them onto the fabrics.
Dr. Strange Halloween Costume 2018
Based on the Dr. Strange movie, I 3D printed Eye of Agamotto using the open resources from thingiverse and made a wristband that lights up when I do the “magical” gesture. The wristband has a lux light sensor, which acts as a switch for the LEDs.
Sunny Mickey 2018
This is a set of mickey mouse ears that alarms the user with a Disney song when the UV index reaches to a harmful level. It was designed for kids at theme parks to prevent them from getting sunburned.
